Manisha Shah-Bugaj, CEO, Activ Surgical

Manisha thought she wanted to become a doctor, but a family friend told her to do something where she could change the world. Pursuing biomedical engineering and business as a career, she found her calling in the medtech industry. In her 30s, she worked for a company in the gynecology space, while facing her own fertility battle. After using her own company’s technology and later undergoing IVF, today, she is the proud mother of twin girls. She hopes that the work she does every day in some small way changes the world by improving it for future patients – like it did for her.
