Anna King, Marketing Coordinator, MassMEDIC, Heart Transplant Survivor

Anna was diagnosed with a rare heart condition at age 12 that required her to have a heart transplant. She waited over two and a half years, and at age 14 received a life-saving heart transplant. She says she is here because of “a doctor, a donor and divine intervention.” It has become her mission to advocate for heart health and organ transplants, and she finds personal fulfillment working in the medtech industry.
